Derek “Supreem” Brinkmann – Founder / CEO
Derek is a 10 year veteran of the game industry and a diehard fan of sandbox games. Derek joined the Ultima Online team in 2006 and became the lead engineer two years later. For the next four years he lead the game development team to success with both the Stygian Abyss and High Seas expansion packs.
Chris “Lord Fairfax” Ondrus – Founder / Art Director
Chris has been working on computer games for over 16 years and his passion is evident in his work. From Morrowind to Dark Age of Camelot to Warhammer Online, Chris has certainly left his mark in the world of game development.
Bruce “Logrus” Bonnick – Systems Designer
Bruce is a rabid fan of Ultima Online and hardcore pvper. He joined the UO team for a few years to help with the Stygian Abyss expansion pack and PVP combat balance. His addiction to numbers and spreadsheets is both frightening and insanely valuable.
Chip Burden – Sound Designer
Chip has taught Audio classes at both American University and The Art Institutes for many years. Not only is he a hardcore gamer but the only person we know that can make us feel bad when we hear a bear die.
Austin Fain – World Artist
Austin is a graduate of the Computer Game Design program at George Mason University.He surgically attached a computer mouse to his finger because he loves making games. He uses this mouse in his role as a 3D world artist.
Daniel Cloth – Animator
Daniel is a graduate of the Computer Game Design program at George Mason University and has worked as an animator on Shadowgate. He believes that the road to success cannot be traversed without a walk cycle.
Matt Lara – Concept Artist
Born in Hawai’i and raised in Las Vegas, Matt spent most of his time involved with art and music. A studio arts major from Cal State Long Beach, Matt is pursuing a career as an illustrator/concept artist. All while working from a beanbag chair, because that’s how he chooses to live his life.
Tim “Draconi” Cotten – Founder / Creative Director
Tim is a long-time veteran of the game development industry, getting his first start on the Ultima Online team in 2005. As a long time sandbox advocate and voice for creating dynamic content he was thrilled to lead a series of live events through his tenure and ultimately deliver the Stygian Abyss expansion pack.
Mike “Vex/Phoenix” Moore – Programmer / Systems Designer
Mike started at Origin shortly after Ultima Online launched. He left the Ultima Online team for three years to work as a lead game system designer on Tabula Rasa with Richard Garriott. After Tabula Rasa’s launch, Mike returned to his home on the Ultima Online for three more years.
Alex Yaeger – User Interface Designer
Alex is an incredibly talented illustrator and graphic designer with a wide range of experience.
Henry Alfonzo – Technical Artist
Henry Alfonzo joined the Mythic Entertainment for a few years where he worked on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning as 3D artist and technical artist. Henry has great understanding of the technical underbelly of character pipelines as well as a wide range of experience in graphic design.
Tiffany Nguyen – World Artist
Tiffany is a student at George Mason University and is majoring in Computer Game Design. The only thing she loves more than 3D and Digital art is pizza.
Jim Shea – System Designer
Jim’s spent the last decade climbing the corporate ladder by day and playing computer games into the early hours of each night. Fortunately for him, Citadel gives him the opportunity to practice his expertise in both business and a true passion of his, online gaming.
Michael Eichstedt – Music Composer
Michael Eichstedt is an Audio Engineer/Music Producer with the passion for the recording arts. He attends The Art Institute of Washington where he will graduate with a BFA in Audio Production.
Gregory Grimsby – Artist
Gregory Grimsby has 14 years of experience in computer game development. Grimsby has worked as lead 3D Artist for Kesmai Studios and Mythic Entertainment, where he most recently held the position of Art Director on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. His other past projects include Air Warrior II, Aliens Online, Multiplayer Battletech: 3025, Dark Age of Camelot, and Ultima Forever.
